Reinhold Friedl is perhaps best known as the leader of Zeitkratzer, a Berlin-based ensemble notorious for an orchestral version of Metal Machine Music with Lou Reed as guest. This duo grew out of Sharp's work with Zeitkratzer leading to the two recording at the legendary Elektroakustisches Studio der Akademie der Künste Berlin in 1999. This album was originally issued by the Grob label in Germany. Long out-of-print, it is now again available.
